What Is Share Southern Vermont? A chapter of Share National, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support serving the grieving communities of Rutland, Bennington, Brattleboro, Claremont, and all points in-between.
Our Mission: to serve those who are touched by the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Share’s primary purpose is to provide support toward the positive integration of grief, encompassing emotional, physical and social healing as well as an effort to help sustain the family unit. The secondary purpose of Share is to provide information, education, and resources for those in the perinatal bereavement field while helping those in the community, including family, friends, employers and caregivers in their supportive role.
Who Runs Share Southern Vermont? SSV is an all volunteer based service group led by a dedicated group of six board members.
How is Share Southern Vermont Funded? Although SSV writes grants, solicits event sponsors, and occasionally is gifted monies by corporations the majority of our working budget is funded by personal donations and our two annual fundraisers: Bowling for Babies and the Angel Ornament Drive. If you feel led to donate please click here. We are so very grateful for your support.
